Ami, you were right.
I do love Lion King. I love how they used colors to paint the emotion of each scene. The way they sing is very different too .. the deep rich vocal to bring out the feeling of the show was very different from Wicked. I have to say though, Wicked's singing was far far far better.
Still, it's awesome.
Let's do this when you head over :D .. if you haven't already catch it in Des Moines.

yeah....the thing is the people are trying to mimic animals so their body language has to be very "communicative", and the stage is suppose to imitate the vastness of the nature so everything is designed with a purpose....that is what I like about it and I think that is where the difficulty lies....
I am glad you enjoyed it!!! If it is still on when i get over there..WE HAVE TO GO!
