Of I Am A Cold Blooded Ass

The conversation below was reconstructed from my flimsy memory .. but then again, who really gives a hoot on its accuracy;

"Hey, are you going back on 10th?"
"I guess I am. What's up?"
"{keep it a secret} xxx is proposing to yyy and he wants us to be there"
"Hahaha.I don't see the point so I will give it a pass. Thanks for asking though"
 " The point .. of being there?"
"Yeah."

And then we talked about it again this afternoon, and I said ..  
"See .. I really don't see the point of being there. First, I don't know him that well. Second, really .. what's the purpose of me being there? If someone is proposing to you, then I will make sure I am there."

Am I too cold-blooded?
People say I am too logical. Sometimes I think I may be a tad too logical for my own good.
Then again, perhaps it's just me .. and my principles.

My principles which are turning me cold-blooded.
