Two weeks and 5 days since my last post.
Hmmm ... not exactly the longest time I have been away, but it has been a while, hasn't it?
Missed me?
It's all right. Don't need to say it out. I know it. After all, I am the proud, attractive and gorgeous lion of August who is always the center of attention.
No?
So, enough with feeding my ego. The past weeks have been pretty extreme. Since school REALLY started; meaning the time when all the assignments, projects, and tests are due at either the same day, or a day apart each, I have been rushing work back to back or studying or trying - keyword: TRYING - to catch up with studies.
Headache? Trust me. It was more than a headache trying to keep up. It was also backache, butt-ache, eye-ache and everything-else-also-ache.
Professor Suh reminded us that it is all right to make mistakes in his class. In fact, it is perfectly all right and encouraged to make mistakes while you are still studying. The worst thing that could happen? Maybe a few marks there, a few points here. Or perhaps a dropped grade.
When you are working?
Probably your job. Which means, you lose security, you lose income, you lose status, you lose ... ah well ... almost everything. Job is our life, no?
Pledge our soul to the firm to get that measly pay to support everything.
What a wonderful world.
So yes. I have been trying to squeeze whatever work I can do in that 24 hours time I have.
Then again, out of the 24 hours, how many do I really get to actually do my work?
Let's see now.
- 7a.m - Wake up, shower and breakfast
- 8/8.30a.m - Classes
- 9.15/10a.m - Work
- 11a.m/12.30p.m - Classes
- Till 1.45p.m on Tues and Thurs, and 3.15p.m on Mon and Wed.
- After that, come back MAYBE study a LITTLE.
- 4/5.00p.m - Start cooking dinner
- 7p.m - If I can finish cooking by now, MAYBE can have an early dinner and start studying until like around 10/11/12 depending on situation.
And wishing for 24 hours is impossible. Anyway, I wouldn't want to wish for it.
I mean, seriously. Imagine that God created things in such a way that Earth takes 48 hours to rotate a full day.
On the contrary of getting more time to accomplish more and finishing more things, I probably have MORE THINGS TO DO. Extra workload!
Why?
Cause the professors think we are only taking his and ONLY his subject!
And why do I slog so much?
To be able to one day, pledge my soul to a firm for that measly pay they would pay me to support my life and everything else.
What a wonderful world.

Imagine even after all the hard work, no company would like to buy your soul for that measly pay, that's worse right? At least you have hope right now and of course, a reason to pledge your soul for that measly pay...
