After touring Millenium Park, we visited the Art Institute of Chicago which was just beside it. Well, supposedly Chicago is famous for its museums and parks, so I guess it was inevitable to visit at least some "institutes".
But, you must be wondering, the "Art Institute"? Erm..Chung Chin? Visiting the Art Institute of Chicago? Doesn't sound correct right? That's what I think too.
*sigh*
Sadly, I have to admit I don't have a single "art cell" in me. It was fun touring the insitute though. I guess ignorance is bliss applies huh? =P
Once inside, you can actually feel that it is quite huge. Me and my two hostess were feeling quite lost when we got in. We then decided to start "attacking" from the lower ground till the upper ground.
The lower ground houses some pretty interesting stuffs. Like the Thorne Miniature rooms which are miniature rooms of European interiors from the late 13th century to the 1930s and American furnishings from the 17th century to the 1930s. There are one or two Chinese and Japanese rooms too.
Pretty cool right? I think so too.
I can only imagine how patience those guys who build the furnitures are. I don't know whether it seems small to you, but those stuffs are REALLY small. Well, miniature rooms mar...
I think I probably will break more than build anything at all. Man, those stuffs are really 精细.佩服佩服.
Then there are some cool sculptures.
Then we went upper ground. And there were more sculptures. And stuffs.
to be continued..
