I have been trying to post this for quite some time, but couldn't find some time..
Well..finally..here I am..
I have finally stepped down as a "President"..finally let go of my post..
And got my "normal" life back
The student life
Where you hug the book 24 hours
Walk like a zombie
Roams the library till they close
Yup!
I finally got back my "normal" life
But the point I want to write ain't this
The point I want to write is about human nature
What human nature?
Well, you see..during the night, which we called it Awards Presentation and Installation Night..bad things happened
Bad things like the program flow was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay jiak lat..
And the food was suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper bad..
Which consequently lead to our guests heaping criticism on us.
MOUNTAINS of criticism!
What I couldn't take was not the criticism.
What I couldn't take was the people who threw the criticism on us.
I finally know what does HYPOCRISY means
How ugly people can be when things go bad..
But never mind..
You know..when things are going good..things are going beautiful..no one gives a damn about giving you a pat on your back
And those "friends" celebrated with you
And when things are goind bad..things went wrong..everyone chip in and gives their opinion..no..let me correct it..not opinion..gives their INSULTS
And those "friends" join in
Well, at least now I know what kind of people I will be facing in the real world.
It is disappointing to know that this is human nature
Still, I am the Proud Lion of August.
I was hurt
But now, I stand tall and proud
Knowing that I have answered to my own conscience
