Ordinariness

I saw this phrase somewhere in a friend's blog:
(not accurately represented, but something like this)

"All of you stand one side and laugh at me because I am different.
I stand on top and laugh back at all of you because you are all the same."

Struck me on the issue of being ordinary..being different..about fitting in..conforming..and so on..

I have been rather non-chalant about certain issues throughout my life as a teen.
Something..I just don't give a damn.
But others, I am pretty sensitive to it.

Right now, I think I am the kind of person that doesn't really give a hell anymore to what people thinks.
I guess those who read my blog from time to time will remember that I mention somewhere that as long as I felt that I have answered myself..I have lived up to my own conscience, and to those who are dear to me..
I don't really give a damn anymore to what others think.

Is this ordinary?
Am I fitting in?

Who cares.
Letting people think too much about my life will only lead to me "handing over" my life to them.
My life without me.

Sad point to think about.




Don't be tied down by the chains of other people opinion.
