Ever wonder about the word "consumers"?
A little dig led me to these;
Duck Echo mentions that "consumer" originates from the Latin word consumo.
Latin Word List says that the latin word consumo has many meanings, some of which means waste away, destroy.

If you look up Dictionary.com .. the word consume will lead you to the definition of .. to spend wastefully, exhaust, deplete, waste, squander and the origin of the word comes from "consumere" which means to use up, eat, waste.

Now, ever wonder why we are tagged as "Consumers" these days?
Ever thought about the things we bought? The things that are piling up at home? The things that we are collecting and are now collecting dust for us?
Just a little thought as spring cleaning creeps nearer.
