After work, I brought my car for servicing ... it was about time.I arrived about 12p.m., and he told me it would probably take around 1.5 hours to be done.Fine.So I went around the area to find some food.He called me after 10 minutes or so when I found a place for lunch and told me my car has this has that ... Conclusion: Massive dent to wallet.Boo hoo.I gave him the green light to do what they want ... ate my lunch ... read a book ... went into a pet shop and ta da! 1.30p.m. arrived.
When I went to find him, we chatted a bit ... and his technician took the car for a spin to "test" things out.Came back and told me that my steering ... erm ... I think I heard bush ... but that is probably wrong ... so I am just going to say steering something ... is not very good.Won't cause any problem for now ... but probably will break something in the future. Conclusion: Double-blow to wallet.Another 1.5 hours to wait.
I walked under the super super HUGE lightbulb hanging on the sky ... a.k.a. the sun to my aunt's place since it was nearby.Nearby means 15 minutes walk actually.I didn't know I was that sadistic to myself.Fortunately, my aunt offered to drive me back when it was almost time to get my car.At 3.30p.m., when my car was finally given a clean bill of health ... my wallet turned deathly sick.
Hopped into the car, started the engine and was planning to go home for a run when a message came.
"Chung Chin, U free later? Can come and fetch me out from sch?My sch closedown because of h1n1, then i wanna go bk later ..." That was my sis.Apparently ... her school had a massive infection of h1n1 and had to be shut down ... and according to the latest news ... students who did not leave the campus by 12p.m. the next day are going to be quarantined in the campus for a week. After hearing the "latest news" - which she told me later might have just been rumors ... but it scared the crap out of her nonetheless - she instantly msg-ed me and asked me to pick her up. She was scared that she might be held up in the campus. Hahaha. Well, honestly ... I have never felt that h1n1 was seriouss until now ... when it struck so close to home.
I went to pick her up and sent her to the bus terminal at Kajang. By the time I arrived home ... and thanks to Garmin bringing me to tour Holland first ... it was almost 630.
What a day.
My initial plan was:
a. Bring car to service at 12.
b. Get back car at 1.
c. Go check out gym in nearby area and be done by 3p.m.
e. Run at 5p.m.
That easy.
