Tomorrow would be the third time I am "celebrating" Thanksgiving over here in U.S.
My first Thanksgiving was with Tim and Shimpei. We were over at Tim's house, thanks to his generosity in inviting us over.It was also the only time I experienced a traditional Thanksgiving.
If you read newspaper comics, you've probably read much of the jokes on Thanksgiving dinner.
Jokes on how everyone stuffs themselves silly with food on that day. The turkey. The mash potato.
And everything else.
Trust me.It's no joke. They really packed every single inch of the dining table with food. After the dinner, everyone usually bums around due to too much turkey and other stuffs in their system.
I still remember that Thanksgiving. It was a beautiful one.Tim had a great house, with the back facing a lake. The sunset was so beautiful, it was truly breath-taking.And the morning was really refreshing with beams of sunlight flooding the house.
My second Thanksgiving was with 12 other people in Colorado.Truth to be told, it wasn't exactly a nice Thanksgiving. Still, it was an experience and a memory.
And tomorrow.
My third.
Two years in U.S.
I'll be missing my second Chinese New Year celebration too.
Two years.
Hmmm ... I wonder how much have I changed.
For better?For worse?
Season came.Season went.
