For those who have been checking back often, I am sorry for not updating it as frequently as I would like to.
But as I have mentioned before, when the jaded-ness of the semester sets in, dwindling-posts-syndrome comes knocking too.I am so left behind some school work that sometimes I feel so stressed out I want to pluck out whatever hair that is left on my head. But I did not.Because I am a healthy person advocating positive stress-relief method.
And plucking hair is not a positive stress-relief method.
Unless it is someone's else hair.
That might be a different story.
Well, there is really nothing much to posts about.
My life is fortunately or ... unfortunately ... depending on the perspective you're looking at ... routinely.mundane.routine.
However, I try to make some little changes in my life to make myself as efficient as possible these days.
For one, I have been trying to kick-off my day by skipping rope while waiting for the water to boil for my breakfast. The reason?I read somewhere that by doing some light exercise right after you wake up, you will get your body's adrenaline flowing and going for some time. The result?
You feel more awake, and your body metabolism kicks in.I am not sure how true this is though.
But I do feel much awake after 5 minutes of skipping.
That is of course. If I survive the first 5 minutes of skipping. The hand-eye-body-motor coordination is probably not at its top form at the moment I wake up.
And then there is the CHA&A.C. project going on.As I have thrown myself into it and made a commitment to stick onto it, some trade-offs have to take place. The trade-off?My reading time. Now, my morning is spent walking around the house or the neighbourhood.Looking for things to be distorted through the view of my lens. And no.Don't think I am complaining.
I am enjoying this project immensely as it has forced me to take up the camera on a daily basis and not when I feel like I want to ... meaning it could be months before I ever do.More than that, it has forced me to think about the things I take.
Some of the comments I have received has been positively encouraging.
Finally. There is the %^&*(*&^%$%~!@#$%^&*()+__+)&^% cold weather.
It is only late October-early November!
But it feels so cold!
I heard that Minnesota is already snowing.
*sigh*
I am so not ready to face winter.
One good thing from this though - the cold weather has forced me to seriously look for my jacket which I have been talking about since early of this year.
And I finally found one that I love.
Seriously.I love the peahoodie.Although some friends have been laughing at me.They think I look ... 复古 in it.
I just think they are jealous of me.
