Of being a carrot. Or an egg.

But not a coffee bean.

Ok. Weird illustration? I am sure a number of you have read the story of "The Carrot, Egg, and Coffee Bean". No? Read it here then. Pretty nice story.

My point: Lately, I have been thinking of the situation and circumstances I was in. A lot of the times, I "charged" in, hoping to change things. But in the end, I was the one changed. Either I hardened, or I softened.

It is easy to read a story, and then tell yourself - "Hmmm. Not a bad idea. I think I will do that"
Problem is, reading it and then doing it, is ... I would say, not easy.

Last thought: "Great men will themselves to feel whatever is necessary, and do it whether they want it or not".
I wouldn't say I am great. I am aspiring to be great. Willing myself to feel whatever is necessary and face it, whether I want it or not.

To be a coffee bean. And not a carrot. Or an egg.
