School started on Monday. And it was pretty tiring.
Taking back-to-back classes is much more tiring than I can imagine. Worst thing is, the professor doesn't help make it any better with their reading off the slide and monotonous tone.
I know I know. I can't blame them for that.
But hey, if you are paid to read off the slide during the lectures, I might as well stay at home and read and go to you when I find some problems right?
*sheeeeesh*
And then I thought I could get some reading and catching up on Monday lectures on Tuesday since I only have to work from 9.00 to 12.00. But the whole of yesterday was spent grocery shopping with Lily (a China originally, moved to Ecuador, doesn't know how to speak Chinese much, but VERY fluent and an expert in Spanish girl) for our meals. Oh yeah. Our apartment is sharing meals with 4 other person from two other apartments. So yeah, that's why I followed during the grocery shopping - to help carry stuffs.
Then the whole afternoon after getting our grocery was spent cutting up the meat and vege. By the time I had my dinner, I was pretty exhausted. And all I could do was read 2 pages of "Investment". It was interesting though.
Frankly speaking, I kind of like the way the things are going right now. How we are sharing the meals. How we are cleaning up the apartment - which isn't much actually.
It makes me feel more ... how should I put it ... sociable?
Back when I was staying in the dorm, what I do is usually just ta pao wraps or sub (sandwiches) and then head back to the room to eat there myself. Well, I memang hated socializing. Lazy to layan people actually.
But living in the apartment I think teach me more about community living more than anywhere.
Hostel life has taught me independence.
I guess now I need to start learning about communion.
And oh. There is a surprise coming up soon.
*shhhhh*
Will update soon enough about it.
Wa ha ha ha.
