Joy in everything

Bible study on Wednesday talked about how to find joy in everything.
And there was kind of role-playing by all the people who attended to help people see how it could be done.

As I sat there watching those little sketches by the people, it really seems so easy to be upset and be a prick when things go wrong.
BUT, with a little "effort" to think THE OTHER WAY, things could change dramatically!
Perhaps it is really hard to see all the joy when things are really going downhill. And what is to rejoice when you have lost something, broken your arm, fallen sick etc etc etc.
And when everything is so dark around you, it is really hard to see the light no?

NO!
When everything is really dark, even the faintest light can be seen. And that's when you will see the light!

It really needs some kind of courage and a little bit of effort to change the mental attitude.
HmmmmmmMm..I don't know whether I am up for it.
But I shall try.
To at least think of a little joy in everything.

Like..though I am getting flu and having a bad time with it, I have also gotten the chance to see the people who cares!
Amen!

And that didn't require any mental effort at all.
I SAW THE PEOPLE WHO CARED!without even having to consciously force myself to be joyful about my flu.
=)

That smiley reminds me that I haven't really been smiling to anyone for quite some time now. Am I such a grouch?
I hope I don't turn green.
