I have not really been able to concentrate on my studies for these few days. Keep on thinking about the days ahead..The days when I would start another chapter.
You guys know who is Warren Buffet?
According to Wikipedia, he is an American stock investor, businessman and philanthropist.
And according to Forbes, he is ranked as the second highest earning guy on this planet. Just behing Bill Gates.
He is renowned as an astute investor.
At the age of 13, he already filed his income tax return.
At 14, he invested his savings of USD 1,200 in a land and rented it to farmers.
By 26, he created his own company.
At the age of 39 years old, his personal net worth reached USD 25million.
Guys like him makes us wonder, is our life destined to be what it is?
It seems easy to see isn't it?
How the people have an extraordinary life since young.
Once, when I was sitting in the VIP room, listening to the VIPs talking, President Tan of INTI College Malaysia mentioned this..
During his younger years, he was quite good at most of the racket sports.
Badminton, table tennis, squash..etc..
BUT, he choosed to give up all and concentrated on table tennis.
He did this because..
..he wanted to excel..
And to do this, he have to focus his energy on a SINGLE thing.
and so, he gave up the others, and concentrated all his time on that ONE sport. And he did excel from what I heard.
Focusing one energy, strength, time on ONE thing.
Anthony Robbins once mentioned that an intense focus, concentration is just like a laser beam. Once it is focused, it can cut through anything that is in its path.
I can't help but wonder at times what the hell am I doing.
Because, at times..I got lost.
I lost my way, and it took up a lot of time for me to get back on track.
Track to what?
My destiny?
Is there such a thing as destiny?
If yes, what am I destined to be?
Destiny is no matter of chance. It is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.
- William Jennings Bryan
Last but not least,
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul.
- William Ernest Henly, Invictus
Indeed, the master of my fate - me, myself and I.

u have to be very strong in order to concentrate in one SINGLE thing. we all dont feel safe. we are afraid what if we cant excel in the single thing that we concentrate. thats why we spread our focuses on several things that might do us good.
thats how our universities function. sucky right? ah well, thats how the whole universe runs.
what to do? maybe we sud all move to mars. oh yeah, men to mars, woman to venus.
