Double Blow

Wednesday was a really depressing day for me.
REALLY REALLY Depressing.

I mean SERIOUSLY Depressing kind of depressing. It was so depressing, I felt..I felt..I couldn't felt anything..

All was fine, till the moment I came back to my room at 6.00p.m, and I tried to on my laptop..and this message(something like it) was shown on the screen..
"Fail to start up due to critical file missing or corrupt
Windows\system32\config\system

This problem can be fix with a setup CD-Rom
Please press 'r' at the first screen after inserting the disc"

Do you know how depressing this message could be??
Actually, the message itself wasn't depressing. What was depressing was the fact that I CAN'T ON MY LAPTOP!

..alrite..alrite..I didn't turn into one lump of a green mass out of frustration, but I was EXTREMELY frustrated and depressed you know..*sigh*

And yes, if you did notice, the title of this post is double blow..so..

After receving the first blow, which is the "death" of my laptop, I received another one by a SMS.
I guess those who have been reading my blog know that my phone died recently and has been sent to the rabbi for resurrection. Guess what. After one week, the ex-engineer from Zitro (which is the legal dealer for Nokia in Msia) told the dumb guy in the handphone shop at my college that..

"Your phone met a critical problem ler..they say hor, this is the first time they see such case in 6680 wor..sorry la..they think got something wrong with the memory processor..then if want to repair hor..maybe cost up till RM300 plus lor..so..you want repair mar??"

WAH LAU WEH!!

Can you imagine??

I had the strongest urge to rush to the nearest wall and just knock myself out. I can't imagine two of my most precious toys dying on me at the same day!
Ok la..strictly speaking, my phone already die one week before..but then to receive the news that there isn't a hope to be resurrected so fast was..was..actually..IS..IS..SERIOUSLY DEPRESSING..

*sigh*
and then i decided to drown myself in my own sorrow by lying on the bed for the whole night..Ok la..the blue witch called and consoled me cause I ask her for some medications to relieve my depression..*sob*
It was actually quite nice of her to do that la..if you are reading this, THANKS yeah~ Really appreciated the call..and yup, it did help to relieve the depression by having someone to shout at..heh heh..

anyway, after my comp died, I went looking for pros to help fix the problem..and my friend ah hock was able to give me the good news..initially, I thought I had to reformat my laptop, which was sad..since I have so much software in here that it would probably take quite a while for me to set things up again..
BUT, ah hock was able to recover everything..and then for the whole day today, I actually spent my time re-installing all the drivers that had problems..

Which is why I am able to blog again now!

Oh yes.
I am an easily satisfied kid.
just gimme my laptop and I am happy enough.
=)

Now I am just a happy lump of white and brown mass~ Wa Ha Ha Ha~
and yes, the project of slimming down is still on.
